Samuel is the founding attorney and principal of the Law Office of Samuel R. Freeman. Samuel’s practice focuses on civil litigation and employment disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour litigation, and trade secret claims. He offers comprehensive legal strategies for navigating conflicts, from pre-litigation negotiation to courtroom advocacy.

In addition to litigation, Samuel advises employers and individuals on a wide range of legal issues, including employment policies and procedures, leave laws, and employment and severance agreements.

He also conducts independent workplace investigations for California employers.

Samuel has been a member of the California Bar since 2018. He began his career in the labor and employment practice group of a global law firm’s Los Angeles office. In 2023, Samuel moved back to San Diego – where he is from – and worked in a boutique law firm in the Downtown area before founding his own practice. In these roles, Samuel has represented a range of clients – from individuals to large Fortune 500 companies – in various industry sectors (including healthcare, banking, professional sports, energy, manufacturing, technology/data, and large fashion houses).
